After having spent 7 years as a forest ranger for the local government in the late ‘90s, I had a brief career in an "artistic environment" (antique dealer and musician with a band) for about 4 years. From beginning of 2000 I jumped on the IT bubble, where I was active for more than 10 years as manager and professional consultant. The last 3 years were spent as a marketing manager for many small and medium companies. Finally I was sick to work in the office and experienced in the kitchen, wineries, field and forest, while enjoying continuous learning and improvement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I speak Italian and German at native level, English fluently, while still practicing for Spanish and French; specifically the last two pushed me to try out this exciting opportunity to combine something useful with some eventual help to others.

Interests

Many interests, mainly travel, (bad)playing music with piano and guitar, sports, reading and meeting people! Other “particular” interests are comics and sailing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music ranges from classic (J.S.Bach) to hard rock (Led Zeppelin) but I don’t like Reggae: I love it!
Movies: Lords of the Ring, StarWars and Blade Runner are my favorite cults. Anyway, I am rather ignorant in film and series culture since I do not own a TV for over 15 years now…
Books: Too many to be listed here but I would at least list C.Bukowski (whole literature), Eckart Tolle, K.Gibran, P.Coelho, M.Kundera and some Italian writers.
