About Me

I'm a down-to-earth, 23-year-old Global Studies graduate too obsessed with the world for his own good. Has signed a lifelong pledge to make/visit as many friends overseas as possible. My best friends have always lived overseas from me so I might as well keep that going and make some new ones on the way! I just fulfilling a dream of travelling the West Coast of Canada and the US for three months, working in San Diego in an awesome surf hostel for 6 weeks of it. *As I’m travelling I do not have a couch to offer yet but if you want to join me anywhere or join my tent or a trip, I’d be so down!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've met most of my best friends whilst travelling overseas, usually when we've only spent two or three days together in a hostel or something. It just makes my world to meet someone and then see them across the other side of the world (in my city etc) a few months later.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people how to surf! I also like to share my family who currently live in Bangkok and Koh Samui, Thailand. We went about 17 times before they actually moved there so it's definitely a place we love. I’ve also completed five years studying Government, International Relations and History at Sydney University?I love discussing about backgrounds, life experiences, your day - just talking to people in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been told I'm a generous, caring, down-to-earth guy that hates to be a nuisance and tries to help people out whenever I can. I've also been told I know a lot about the world, but personally I want to learn more about other people's worlds. I can share whatever a host would like me to share, because my favourite thing to do is engage meaningfully with people, especially those from different places than I. I'm very flexible, and can jump from right into an action-packed day to living life like a local, and don't mind hanging out with hosts all day or alternatively letting hosts get on with their lives and fending for myself. Just keep in mind I'm just grateful for the opportunity and will cherish it forever. Thankyou!
