About Me

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. Graduated from Mechanical engineering 2014 and just inbetween work at the moment. I'm a bicycle mechanic, build custom bikes for myself and friends. Passionate cyclist, coffee/beer enthusiast and enjoy hanging out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm doing a tour of the United States west coast, first time overseas! My friend got married in Gilbert, Arizona, I went for his wedding and then did Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and now in San Fransisco. Heading up to Seattle and then to Portland and LA. I've been staying in motels and would like a more social experience. I am a pretty tame guest, respectful and outgoing. So if you're happy to have me for a night or too i'd be really grateful.

Interests

Love to get active; cycling, rockclimbing and gymnastics are a few of my interests. Play a bit of cards and board games (risk, chess etc). If you like Pool, i'm always up for a game. Pretty broad interests in science, arts, history and politics. So i'm always up for a chat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies that study human behaviour and relationships or ones that are creative in general. Also have a peculiar sense of humour, shaped largely by the Simpsons growing up. Saw Cirque du soleil in Las vegas and was very moved by it. So chances are, if you're passionate about a film or subject you could get me interested!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tend to be spontaneous. Rode up the sunshine coast on my fixie at 3am for 110km and stayed in a backpackers overnight. Got caught in the rain the next day and caught a train back to brisbane. Love adventures on my bicycle, I tend to explore new cities by bicycle and I prefer it to driving.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've lived with housemates for several years, i'm respectful and I can happily do my own thing. But if you're not too busy and want to show me a local spot i'd be stoked. If you own a bicycle, I can give you advice or give it a touch up ;) Other than that, I'm easy going and would love meet new people.
