About Me
Hey there,
I like good conversations and new experiences. I plan on becoming a psychotherapist.
I have received four vaccinations against Covid so far.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main point of traveling for me is to understand and experience the people of the place I´m visiting. I want to immerse myself as much as possible in its atmosphere and way of living.
When I have a job and my own place to live somewhere in the world, I plan on hosting as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical music...especially the late romantics such as Chopin, Debussy and Erik Satie. Apart from that, I enjoy rock/pop from the 70s and 80s. Makes me nostalgic somehow even though I wasn´t alive during that time. Apart from that French and Japanese indie is great as well. La Femme, Junoire, Taeko Onuki to name a few.
With regard to books I enjoy anything that is philosophical/psychological.
Among my favorite books are: Siddhartha and Der Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse, Notes from underground by Dostojewski, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, The gift of therapy by Irving Yalom, Thus spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
I love ghibli-movies such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle.
I also enjoy watching series from time to time. Some of my favorites so far are Euphoria, Rick and Morty and Squid Game.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Groeningen in the Netherlands with a friend and a coach to take a heroic dose of psilocibin. I cannot put to words well what I experienced...it was definitely an incredible journey and it has influenced me in many ways.
To me at least, it´s also incredible that I had the opportunity to study in Lima for two semesters.
I followed the train tracks by foot from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes which is close to Macchu Picchu in one day. It's the cheapest way to get there and it is quite the adventure.
I did a trip through various big cities in the US for over month while solely relying on Couchsurfing and the kindness of others. It was the craziest adventure of my life so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to focus on the present moment.
When I'm in contact with a person, I strive to understand and perceive them as fully as I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think it should be easy to find common interests with me and to have interesting conversations.
Additionally, I´m pretty flexible and adaptive. If you wanna cook I´m glad to join you. I would love to do my hosts any favours they can think of. Especially chores or errands I happily do to at least give back a little bit.
I also know my way around in a handful of subjects, so if you wanna know more about the languages I speak or my hobbies just let me know. And if you wanna teach me anything, I love to listen and learn.
