My name is Max, 24 years old, and I finished my study of Chemical Engineering a couple of months ago. It was always my dream to travel the world after I finished school, so that is my current goal.

I have been traveling the world since I was 5 years old, of course, I had no choice as my parents just took me with them on their holidays. Even then I was interested in other cultures, people, nature, etc. The older I got, the more my curiosity in the world grew. And still is growing.

During and after my internship in Brazil (Belo Horizonte) I traveled though South America. I found out that I can be happy just by traveling and meeting new people.

I like boxing, playing card games, hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I came in contact met couchsurfing was in South America. I really loved it. There is no better way to experience a country and its people.

I did a boat ride from Paraguay to Bolivia on a local cargo boat.
I celebrated Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro for a week.
