My name is Max, I am 23 years old and from France.

When COVID broke in 2021 and lockdowns were happening in France, I decided to leave on a gap year and spent the year traveling around the world, that's when the travel addiction began. I started with Asia, went to Africa and then the Americas. Let's meet if you want to know more about my adventures!

In France, I live in the mountains and I love hiking / climbing / skiing / running ... to summarize, I love all mountain and outdoor activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing after many positive feedbacks from travelers I've met. My purpose here is to meet new people, learn more about their culture and their way of thinking, and (why not) try to learn a new language (at least a few words).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Take a gap year and spend the whole time traveling the world for 15 months.

I have done some Workaway in the north of Sweden: I stayed the whole winter there under -25°C taking care of dogs and farm animals.
