Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think happiness is only real when shared, and I got bored with the fast, transitory life of hostels. So here I am, looking to get to know a country, a person, and a language better than just the surface level. I want to know everything about your country and about the world. Just about everything interests me, so if you have a pet snake or like to do paddleboard yoga, or anything in-between, I think we'll get along just fine.

I'm a carpenter by trade and an english teacher by passion, so I'm happy to help you in either way. I love to cook (though I'm not great at it) and would love to cook you some of the foods that my country likes to claim as it's own (the USA doesn't really have a national cuisine).
