Currently in living and working in Stuttgart. I do research in materials science on interesting problems in renewable energy, pharmaceutical development, and environmental remediation.

I love to travel, whether it be for research or just for fun. Hoping to continue to meet new friends and get to know the cultures and perspectives of other people.

Interests

I do research in materials science, but am actively curious and reading in other areas of science. Skiing is my absolute favorite way to spend a day and I take any opportunity I can to find a snowy mountain. I also enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. I am passionate about music, having played the piano for almost 20 years and currently learning to play guitar. Weight lifting is also a major pastime in my regular day-to-day.
