Overview
About Me
I'm from Bavaria, Germany where I grew up in an town 2 hours away from Munich.
I’m currently a student for industrial engineering coupled with economics in Leipzig, Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think as most people - I love traveling authentically.
I wanted to couchsurf after I read the book 'Couchsurfing in Iran' by Stephan Orth. He wrote about his experience meeting locals and I really wanted to enjoy the same way of traveling.
Interests
I love learning languages half-ass - so I know some Arabic, Chinese, French and Hebrew.
I'm also into design, architecture and photography despite not being good in it - I absolutely love talking about good looking architecture/design and analysing if I see it.
I would say that I am well informed about the Middle East and international politics - I try to stay up to date.

Music, Movies, and Books
For now I'm really into Jazz an Middle Eastern music. My favourite artists are Mohamed Hamaki and Avihu Pinchasov Rhythm club.
However I'm also into Indie and other music styles and open for everything.
When it comes to reading I love non-fiction books - especially about travel. Currently I’m reading “This is London” by Ben Judah which is about parallel societies in London - I absolutely recommend it!
One of my favourite authors is Jens Mühling who wrote about his experiences in Russia and Ukraine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was volunteering with disabled children and adults which is quite amazing, I guess.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a good cook - in my opinion at least. I’d love to tell you more about it.
