Overview
About Me
I am a 20 year old student currently taking a gapyear between secondary school and university. I worked for six months as a bartender and now I am traveling for 6 months as well. My main destinations are
New Zealand/Australia/Hongkong/Japan/South America.
I was born and raised in the small country of Luxembourg which is a beautiful country but it's just to small. After spending my whole life there going to school I just had to do/see something different for a while.
Since I was little traveling is what I enjoyed most. I traveled alot through europe with my parents spending most of the time on campsites and in the nature.
I really enjoy hiking and camping. I like citys as well but just for a short amount of time as they stress me to much.
What I like most about traveling is seeing -and trying out new things. I love to see diffrent cultures, places and natural environments.
I also like meeting new people and their cultural background. It's so intresting how people from compelty diffrent cultures still can have the same behaviours and ideas.
I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy to eat.
I am very openminded and easy going. I like it clean so I will always clean up after myself too.
I like to have chilled out evenings with some music and some nice conversations, but I also like to go out and have a few beers from time to time.
I might be quiet young but I think age doesn't really matter when it comes to meeting new interesting people.
I laugh alot and try to go with a smile trough my day.
I you feel like having a bad day I'll try to make it better. Life is all about having fun so there is no good day without a good joke.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to travel. I do not only want to visit new countrys and citys but I also want to get to know the culture and meet the people that live there.
That's why couchsurfing is perfect for me, you get to know a plac from a whole other perspective and spend a great time with a local.
I think that CS is all about giving and taking. I haven't had the chance to host alot yet as I lived with my parents back home. I will change that as soon as I get my own flat. I will also try to help my host as much as possible during my stay.
Interests
I have a lot of Hobbys and Interests. I am willing to discover new cultures, food, places, hobbys.
I like all kinds of sports such as ice hockey, sailing, surfing, kitesurfing, snowboarding/skiing, mountain biking, climbing....
I like art and architecture as well as history and philsophy, so I can spent a lot of time in museums. Not too much because I am a really active person.
Camping and hiking have always played a big role in my life as nature is where I feel the most comfortable.
I like to have long discussions I have a quiet strong opinion about most things but I will always respect the others.
