Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to the couchsurfing scene but my partner I love to travel and to meet like minded people share experiences and knowledge so it was a no brainer really, if we can enhance somebody else's trip or our own along the way then it is a win win. So the question should really be, why wouldn't you join couchsurfing?
