⬇️ Full n' boring description ⬇️

I always wanted to see how diverse the planet is. Each trip abroad has only increased my hunger for new experiences. And once I moved in another country to live, getting know another cultures became essential for me.

That's why I'm here, decided not to stand the routine and took one way ticket.

My type of traveling is cultural exploration first and foremost.
I mean, I can enjoy just wandering around a city or visiting popular tourist destinations, but I always try to catch a glimpse of how is it like to live in a place I visit. Consequences of moving the country I assume, huh
Si having a small talk with family buissnes owner or dining in small eatery known only by locals is more my style.

Or even better, getting a chance to spend a couple of days in a remote village surrounded by mountains – that's sounds perfect!

Speaking of getting far away: I'm a big fan of hiking and long trailing. So if you have some beautiful lake or tall mountain in mind, let me know ;-)

I also wish I could hear some lifestories or learn new skills from anyone I spend time with. That's my main goal here apparently.

And of course, I'd love to know how to cook something from your cuisine. For a full immersion into a culture it has not to be only around, but inside too, right? :)

So if you're the person who loves to share skills and talk about everything, we'll find common ground

P. S. If not, it's still fine. I'm not always so extroverted (I come from a northern reserved country after all), so I appreciate and at times even prefer the calmness and silence

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know the culture in its purest shape. To see how different people may live and to consider what way to live myself.

Interests

Multi-day hiking, just to separate from any kind of civilization I'm a while

Any type of outdoor sport, I've tried snorkeling, bike trailing, rock climbing, skiing so far. And have in plans paragliding, scuba diving and parachute jump at least

Learning languages as it's my passion. That's the best opportunity to get into culture I believe.

Making some historical researches, especially while traveling. I like to know what's the story of what I see around me

Music, Movies, and Books

When I worked at a student radio station, I had to erase any boundaries of my genre preferences
So now it's a range from SOAP or Eminem, to Sinatra or Beethoven.

In cinematography I'm attracted to more time-tested classics. European cinema of 60-s 70-s is now most unexplored and intriguing field.

Literature of 20-th century is also the closest to me so far. I see too many references with our nowadays there.

Of course, I'm open to any suggestions in Music, books, cinema, especially the works you've grew up on. (Cultural exchange, again 😅)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Night diving into a drowned ship

Sandboarding (didn't know it exists before I tried)

Moving from the country of eternal winter to middle east

There are much more I can remember if we'll start a live conversation... (no hints at all)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Telling my own stories from other travels or sharing the country moving experience (especially that the both countries I've changed aren't most obvious ones).

Language exchange, of course. If you're interested in English, German, Hebrew or Russian speaking practice, just let me know.

Making some proper coffee in a case you have a coffee machine :)
I've been working as a barista before I started to travel

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Austria, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, Russian Federation
