ABOUT ME

In the real world I work as a web developer...but my passion is journalism, in particular science journalism. I also sometimes moonlight as writer for a company that outsources online dating (which is as weird a job as it sounds!)

When I'm bored, I also have a tendency to drop what I'm doing and go traveling, couchsurfing, volunteering, camping, hitchhiking (all those ridiculous things that leave you broke and happy).

Gardening, guitar, karaoke, and space heaters have kept me warm in this incredibly cold Toronto winter.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I´ve started travelling and hitchhiking, I realize that there´s something really life affirming about positive personal interactions with strangers. In our day to day life the only interactions we really have with people who are not our friends and family are economic exchanges, which makes it impossible for two people to actually relate to each other.
