Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We think it's a great way to meet people and travel. It's amazing to discover new cultures through local people and not the tourist guide. Our last CS experience was our trip to Marrakech and it was a great!
We have hosted CSurfers as well and we have met awesome people.

Interests

Val: Traveling,Design,Arts,Music,Photography,Movies.
Concerts, concerts and more concerts. I love music and to discover new bands all the time.
Max:Traveling, Sports.

We also like to go biking, hiking, canoeing, doing kayak, camping. We like nature!

Music, Movies, and Books

We don't like TV so we love watching movies. Max is a Luc Besson fan and I like Peter Greenaway, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, movies like Trainspotting, Let the Right One In,Lola Rent, Pi Faith in Chaos, Little Miss Sunshine, thrillers, documentaries, foreign movies.
We enjoy watching good stories, but sometimes we like to see just something entertaining. We like rock, heavy metal, ska, jazz, world music. We enjoy going to concerts also: http://www.lastfm.fr/user/valmaxmtl.

Some of our fav bands are: DeVotchka, Calexico, Bjork, AC/DC, Pantera, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Portishead, Cake, Pearl Jam, Blonde Redhead, Mano Negra, Manu Chao, My Morning Jacket, Yo la Tengo, latin american bands like: Santa Sabina, Cafe Tacuba, Los Tres, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and so many many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Val: Doing skydiving for my 30th birthday.
Max: The Golden Gate Bridge is a joke : It doesn't exist! :o)

We can teach you how to cook delicious french or mexican food (Max can cook delicious crêpes with Nutella!). And of course, show you great places in Montreal!
