HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host once in awhile, and surf when possible

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing for my first time in So Cal with some old family friends! The Barrehns just happened upon an extra surf board and took me to their beach to ride this wonderous new world. The waves were a bit choppy with a cool breeze that shook the trees. I struggled through the wake for a few moments before laying my cold body on the sleek tan blue trimmed longboard. I began paddling my arms and legs furiously towards the vast unknown. After 2 hours of swimming, and a brief moment of standing up on the ocean, we had amazing burritos from this little taco shack near the beach. Then we proceeded to my friends lovely abode where we lay in hammocks drinking their home made wine. This, being one of my first and most outstanding couch surfing experiences, changed my outlook on how life should be lived
