ABOUT ME

We are a couple, and we decided to go to discover the world just after finishing our studies and before starting to work. So, we are travelling to see the world and the beauty of the nature, meet different people and culture to balance our way of thinking, living and learn how to live a sustainable life (that's the reason why we decided to do some WWOOFing during the trip). We are looking for something but we still don't really know what...
We like the surprises that life makes us with everything that can happen when travelling, meeting new people, having fun with them, become good friends and sometimes going to party too. We like socializing and we are open to all type of people.

UPDATE 2011 : We are now back to Belgium from our ten month travel

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First we had surfed some couch and share our culture with our host, learning from them and trying to make them discover some things from our country. Now we're back and have started to host some couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a very good time with couchsurfing in Chile, that`s why we'd like to have some more.
UPDATE : Since then we met a lot of wonderfull people all around the world, so we hope it would continue like that.

Max : Well there's a lot of things, but the mains are horse riding, nature, carving wood, physics( espacially astrophisics, relativity and all that deal with the creation of the universe), driving rally cars (i'm currently preparing my own), travelling, music(i've played guitar for 3 years since i broke my shoulder and had to stop), martial arts, extreme sports, rhum, beer and wine(Julie too).
Julie : Power of mind, spiritual things, music of the world, nature, creating things such jewellery, craft from the world, psychology (Neurosciences), medicinal plant (want to learn), speak spanish, have good times with people, sustainable living, wellbeing, going for a walk in the forest, mountains, stay a moment in the nature, evolve. I love good food and tea!!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Travel the World, Tat kuangsi in Laos, Along Bay, Climbing to the Anapurna Base camp in Nepal, survive to indian hospitals, walking in a volcano in Reunion, Etosha national Park in Namibia, Learning Kungfu with Shaolin monks in china, The Angkor Temples, meeting a lot of people from all over the world, wwoof in South Africa where we have been attacked by bees and slept in a bushmen cave, play with tigers and baby lions (Max : and save my mother from the teeth of these babies lions ;p), cheat on the Marriot hotel to get a deluxe cruise for free to islands in Thailand, get down running as crazy from Big Daddy in Namibia the second highest sand dune in the world, going to Machupicchu for less than 50 euros each including the entrance, sunsets in Namibia and the milkyway in South Africa, Mayan temples in Guatemala and Mexico, the winter solstice in Stonehenge... I'll stop there because the list is long...
