About Me
Hello world!
My name is Massimo and I live in Palermo, the capital city of the island of Sicily, in the south of Italy.
I'm a Civil Engineering but since I'm rather insane I started university again, this time studying Medicine.
I really like to travel (not an astonishing revelation being here on CS :D) , today I've visited Spain, France, Tunisia, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia and Portugal, and I hope to expand this list very soon.
I'm passionate about South American places and culture and I wish I can to visit it "all" by car one day.
I also enjoy exploring my big island and I know its places and its culture very well so, if you want to discover anything about Sicily you can ask me!
Furthermore I like to play the piano, I like to dance folk music, I'm trying to learn photography and I'm in love with parks, mountains, volcanoes, hiking and generally speaking all that is green and related to nature.
I speak Italian (my native language), English and Portuguese. I am learning Spanish and I wish to pick up French too, one day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling alone! For some people it's depressing, for me it's really awesome and I think it's one of the few occasions we have to really know ourselves.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to practise my English and to reach fluency in Portuguese so people from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Timor Est, São Tomé or Macau (I hope I haven't forgot someone) are more than welcome :D .
Nevertheless, feel free to contact me from any corner of the world.
And of course, if you are studying Italian, I'd be glad to try to help you! :)
