I am originally from San Francisco but have lived in a big house (co-op?) full of musicians in Berkeley for the last 3 years playing lots of music gigs and supporting the habit through waiting tables.

I recently moved all my worldly possessions to Chengdu, China and will be starting a new job teaching English there in July!

I am a drummer, a tea enthusiast, a linguistics nerd, a foodie, and I love to climb and ride bicycles.

I love to jam and make music whenever possible, but I enjoy sharing and comparing musical tastes as well.

I am very easygoing for the most part, but I do have a penchant for animated debate when the mood is right. Overall, I am genuinely interested in people and I want to learn about what they are passionate about.

I have been told I am a delightful houseguest (I do dishes!) and that I have high emotional intelligence. I try to meditate regularly, but it's hard on the road, so I usually settle for brief mindful moments here and there.
