About Me
If requesting to stay with me, please do include something from my profile to let me know you've read it. And do tell me one of your favorite books or films. I want to avoid too many copy-pasted requests. Thanks : )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I dig the culture of openness, exchange, and exploration that I've found in the couchsurfing community. Cs'ers make excellent companions to discuss, learn, and experience.
Have had a positive experience with each of the granted humble, but growing list of CS'ers that I've met.
As a host, I'm keen to share some of my favorite, sometimes lesser known or out of the way places here in San Diego. I'd like visitors to have a warm, comfortable environment to return to after they've explored the city.
As a traveler, I'm open to the knowledge and sense of adventure of my hosts.
Looking forward to hosting, meeting, and visiting more folks!

Teach, Learn, Share
Please do feel free to propose one of the following (or anything else : ):
Meditation is one of the most meaningful, beneficial activities I've done. Happy to discuss, or share a meditation with a person of any level of experience or interest.
To cook and share a meal and culinary knowledge and practice. I'm keen to learn more regional specialties and techniques. I have some favored dishes as well, am eating increasingly plant-based, and am expanding my repertoire and sharpening skills.
Linguistic exchange. I've taught English professionally at various levels, рад пообщаться по Русски, converser en Français, y communicarse en Español (habla suavemente conmigo ; )
I've come to love surfing and being in and around the ocean in the last few years (lucky I live in San Diego). Have paddled out with probably 25+ beginner (and more advanced) Couchsurfers. Let's have a morning or sunset surf at one of the numerous beautiful breaks around.
Poetry and translation.
Chat over tea!
I've been visiting Tijuana and further into México a few times a month. Happy to explore and share!
Love cinema, and will be glad to watch a film together on a projector or in a theater, and to discuss over a tea, a drink, or a meal. Likewise museums.
I'm open to learning any skill, but especially music, creation and understanding of art and photography, dance, math, computer science, reasonably technical science in any given field, martial arts, movement and body awareness.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sense of curiosity. Sense of humor. Happy to cook, clean. Open to ideas and sharing a drink, an adventure, or a meditation.
