For me, travel is as much about discovering a place as it is about discovering the people who live there. I never cease to be surprised and enthusiastic about the mix of characters, opinions and passions that the encounter make me discover in others as well as in myself. I'm curious, empatic and, I hope, sometimes funny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling in original ways. I've spent most of my holidays hitchhiking on the roadsides of Europe or cycling around. The more you get away from hotels and tourist circuits, the more likely you are to really meet people in all their generosity and authenticity. For me, this approach, and the improvisation it sometimes involves, is a powerful tool for reducing the commodification of our relationships.
It's a passion for southern Europe and the people I've met there that has led me to give couchsurfing a try. I hope to see you soon joining their ranks!
