About Me
Hi folks
On weekdays I'm a French architect based in Brussels. However as soon as the sun and bank holiday season starts, I’m a cycling enthusiast looking forward for my next trip. Only in the last couple of summers, I cycled in South-East England and from home to Copenhagen. Both with the same friend. The cycling was great during both trips but as I’ve been using Couchsurfing only in the second, I enjoyed connecting with people along my way much more accros Germany.
During our last trip we walked for a week in the Jordanian desert. It was more difficult to connect with people because…well it’s a desert. We’ve been hosted by Bedouins for some of the nights though. But as neither of us speak Arabic we became experts at using other ways to communicate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine told me about his couch surfing experience. I love the idea of using the opportunity to discover new places to meet new people, and vice versa.
Hope I’ll get a better understanding of my next destinations by meeting with those who knows it best. My trip will be at its climax if you tell me more about you, the things you like to do around, your favourite local beer or if you let me pet your cat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's a rather broad question... I'm just thinking of the last one I've done, only few days ago (June 2017).
I just spend some time in Martinique, notably to see some of my relatives who immigrate there years ago. I haven't seen them in a while and never at their place. Neither me nor my friend could drive so it was nice to have them showing us the island which do not have proper public transport. However the last day of our stay we realised we would miss another great walk in the tropical rainforest as my relatives had to work. It wasn't an option to miss an opportunity to sweat one more time during a exhausting all day walk, admiring the jungle and listening to an endemic bird (I swear it does a funny song). So despite the distance (90 km) and the thunder rain, we got up at 5am and hitchhiked cross the mountains just to do that walk. We eventually got there, ran up and down the walk and came back on time at home thanks to all the drivers who helped us.
