About Me

I've done a bit of this and a bit of that. Currently I'm wearing a tie while fighting computers by day and going to as many weird cultural things as I can find by night.

A nerd what with the computers and the quoting firefly. Eating, drinking, dancing and experiencing culture is what life is all about for me. I love to learn new things, finding new ways of seeing the world and just experiencing stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've got space to share and love to meet new people!

Interests

If it exists, chances are that I'll be interested in some way. If you can teach me something new I'd love learn. I like cooking almost as much as eating :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm, just too much to list it all.

I listen mostly to swing, jazz, blues, indie and electronica nowadays but sometimes I go back to chipmusic, ska-punk, etc. I usually say that I listen to good music, no matter the genre.

Love me some good movies that really gets you thinking and make use of brilliant cinematography and or story telling. Less enthused about action-movies that mindlessly enforces the gender stereotypes but I can watch it if the popcorn is good enough.

I grew up on Terry Pratchett and Tolkien and now I'm in love with Bulgakov, Woolf and many more as well. Currently I'm reading Aleksijevitj and trying not to cry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still fondly remember the fantastic meal I had in a San Sebastian cider house. Absolutely perfect evening.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm just now diving into kombucha-making so I can share some lessons learned from that. Maybe some basic lindy-hop, how to install Linux properly on your computer, discussions on politics maybe? :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook food without a recipe and with just the ingredients available at the time to see what turns out in the end. So if you're brave enough we can try to do that together. Otherwise I enjoy good conversations and can help out with pretty much anything.
