About Me
Hi My name is Max and I am from England. I have been living in Asia for the past three years (one year in Ningbo China and three years in Taipei, Taiwan)
If you would like me to host you please read all of my profile and take the time to explain why it would be cool for us to meet :)
I have done a fair bit of couchsurfing in my travels and I really believe couchsurfing is the best way to travel. But I don't think it should be just viewed as a free place to stay, more as a way to share things with other travelers. For example in the past I would always get the beers in or cook a meal for people that have hosted me in the past. They provided me with so much so I felt obliged to re-pay them as best I could. I hope people I host in the future will feel the same way.
Right now I am working as an English teacher in Taipei and studying Chinese language.
My biggest passions are:
travelling
learning about different cultures
music
ukulele
photography
Scuba Diving
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to start hosting some couch surfers in Taipei.
I have been travelling on and off since 2009 and the travel bug has never died! :)
In all my time travelling, my best experiences have been through the people I have met. I really believe in couch surfing because it allows travelers to come together and share their passions.
I love to show people all my favorite spots in Taipei and will soon be hosting when my new apartment is ready :)
In the meantime I hope I can meet some new cool people on here and travel together.
Cheers for reading ! :)
