About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to travel to learn from my host and surfers, meet people, places and cultures as different as possible from the way I think, indeed I want to travel more for the people than for the place itself.

ABOUT ME

I was born on november 1989 in Valdivia, southern Chile and I lived 6 years in Vienna, Austria, where I finished a Bachelor in Music. From October 2015 I've been making my Masters and working in some orchestras in north west Germany. I'm more an introverted person but once I make a close friend she or he can always count on me. My goal at the moment is to see where this website will take me, I believe there is a lot of things to discover.

If you send me a copy and paste request and you call me Jonny but you look like a trustable person I'll certainly host you. Let's get in touch since backpackers need help and not to be annoyed =)

I'm not a party person but I am open to anything and anyone.

I'll be from August to September in Valdivia, Chile and from October to June in Detmold Germany available for hosting. If I'm busy you will be more on your own nevertheless I'll try to spend some quality time with you.

PHILOSOPHY

The more differences, the more fun. I'd love to surf at or host as "different" people as possible (from the perspective of a Chilean person) so I'm open to meet you even if we have no common interest. Thanks to CS I could meet amazing people in a world where trust is disappearing. That's what I like the most about it.

No One Writes to the Colonel and Amor en los tiempos del Cólera/García Márquez
Viennese culture and Wienerisch
Musicology books by Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
I like almost any kind of music, right now I'm more into folk music and Music Ethnology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trying to ask for non-spice, meat free food in Shenyang, China.

Teach, Learn, Share

Bring your instrument and let's play a jam session. How do you cook? I'm open to any new advice and combination of spices in the kitchen. Middle East food such as Falafel, Humus, high quality olive oil and Satar are frequent on our table, if you like them as well you may have a great time here. You may practice spanish with me as well. I'd be glad to have people from countries I've not a clue about so you don't necessarily have to be Chilean or a musician or to come from the "humus countries" to get a couch at my place ;) Playing music and cooking together can connect people easily. We can also play table tennis, a sport I'm enthusiastic with

What I Can Share with Hosts

home made food, a bit of a guided tour and a jam session, Spanish language and an air mattress.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
