COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only met awesome people in my experiences with couchsurfing and I hope to meet many more.

Exploring the wild. Climbing trees and other large, interesting, and/or challenging objects, like mountains. Caving. Lounging in little nooks. Playing in natural bodies of water. Riding bikes. Sports n games. Learning. Sharing ideas. Making noise. Playing and listening to music. Drumming. Cooking. Eating tasty food. Dinner parties! Herbalism. Ayurveda. Drinking lots of water.

Expanding the experience of those around me without sacrificing the fun! Making folks feel like goddesses! Being an accomplice in the "crime" of freedom. Helping to make these opportunities available to folks who have been marginalized and oppressed. Being a dream conductor...as in a compañer@ who helps you manifest your dreams.

Music: If I had a religion it would be RHYTHM. I like groovin', intricate beats, but straightforward punk and grind are also all-time favorites.

- Sweet Movie, El Topo, Un Chien Andalou, Jean Vigo, Attenborough documentaries, Leone/Sollima/Donati westerns, Requiescant, Chang Cheh Kung Fu flicks, Psycho/Hitchcock, Queen of Black Magic, Stroszek/Herzog, You The Living, Troma flicks.

Books: Nature and philosophy. Zines are wonderful. I read anything and everything. Can't stop!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Angel's Landing in Zion National Park when I was 11. I hope this counts as "amazing" to you all. Also, up for contention: Snorkeling in the Keys. SCUBA diving in the Red Sea. 4 month bike tour with just my bike and a backpack. FREEDOM! Backpacking/hitchhiking around Africa for 6 months. BIGGEST thing I've ever done fersherrrr.

A more profound and introspective accomplishment was my paradigm shift from:

*dominating, controlling, judgmental, arrogant, apathetic, close-minded, in denial, insensitive man™

TO

*a real, living, breathing, feeling, loving, open-minded, generous, supportive, accepting, passionate warrior of a human bean! yes, bean.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Drums, exercise/nutrition, ecology, gardening/permaculture, herbalism, cooking!
Learn - Natural building, how to do cool things with hair, meditation, dance, massage, violin!
Share - Delicious food, hugs, deep-shit conversations, bike rides, massages!
