I’m Maxime, I’m a 19-years-old boy who come from Lanneray, a village just next to Chateaudun, a city located in the Région Centre, not far from Paris.

Right now, I’m doing gap year : I’ve got time to have fun with my friends, work to earn money, discover a bunch of stuff and especially travel all around the Europe !

Next year, I plan to study the cabinetmaking and the marquetry, two subjects which are my passion.

My girlfriend Mathou (an art history student) and I are greats adventurers, we love travel and discover a bunch of stuff, and especially people. I also love to go abroad with my friends. How cool is it !

I'm very open-minded, I can talk about everything, like politic, literature, history, music... Above all I want to know other cultures, lifestyles because I think that Couchsurfing can be a great way to be open to the world, but especially to the others. I’m someone who love people, speak with them, and follow them where they want to share a moment of friendship and conviviality.

With my girlfriend, we’re planning, in May, a journey of two weeks in Europe ! We foresee to go to Bruxelles, Amsterdam, Berlin, Praga, and maybe Vienna/Cracovie/Bratislava/Budapest/Zagreb.. We’re already hesitating about these cities..Don’t hesitate if you want to host us, because we’re looking at someone to welcome us in his home. :)

I'm on Couchsurfing to expand my mind, to meet people all over the world, to cross a lot of countries, and meet/welcome other culture. I want to bring out of my everyday life and discover new things, new cultures, new minds, new friends !
