Overview
About Me
I'm Maxime, people usually call me Max. After finishing university, I decided it’s time for me to take time for myself and engage in something I had been aching to do since childhood: travelling. To me, travelling is all about exploring - discovering - learning and curiosity is my fuel. It’s been almost four years now that I’ve been roaming all over the planet, and it's changed me up to the roots of my values and convictions. I aspire to becoming the best version of myself, adopting an unbiased and open a mindset as I can.
A love for languages is something anyone who knows me will acknowledge. I kind of made it my life's work to learn different tongues.
I created my CS account right before I started this trip so unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance yet to be on the hosting side of the experience, but after so many great experiences I can’t wait to welcome my first surfers - at least when I’ll have a place of my own, whenever that may be :).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying over in guesthouses and hostels is cool and quite handy for meeting a bunch of other likeminded people whilst traveling. You usually don't meet people from the country you're traveling through though. And that's actually a dimension I don't want to miss. Couchsurfing has enabled me so many times to get in touch with locals first hand who are also interested in experiencing more about me and my travels.
