That being said!.. I am Maxime, but everyone calls me Max (or Gabo). I am passionate about people, nature, and just life in general! What an incredible miracle that life exists in such forms, with all its wonders, on this big rock we call Earth, floating in an infinite cold and mostly empty void. We should take care more of it and not take it for granted! And we all share the same incredible spaceship, so I see humanity as one, and hopefully it becomes the norm one day..!

On a more practical note, I currently work in a non-profit to make cities more fun and liveable through urbanism and multisector projects. I studied maths and economics so I am pretty rational in some aspects, but I am found of arts, dramaturgy, cinema, music. I am more of an extrovert: I love to meet new people, attend parties and concerts, but can also enjoy me time, reading, writing or listening to music.

I am currently in a process of finding my true passions and dreams in order to pursue them, and CS is a great way for me to meet new people that can truly open your mind. Life sometimes lacks of randomness, so I try to create it: randomly selecting a path to go back home, talking to a random group of people, randomly picking a destination for travel... they are all great way to create opportunities, and meet amazing human beings :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It is for me the best way to experience somewhere’s culture and wibe: living the place the way its inhabitants do. As a local, you can show the true nature of your city. I’m in love with mine, and hopefully CS will keep getting me to visit other places with people who feel the same about their city :)
