Hi, I'm Max. I'm 28 and I currently live in Paris. After having my master degree in engineering, I got a job in a consulting company, working for 5 years mainly for insurance company or banks but also for the industry sector.

But that's not what makes my heart beats. I can't be only one label given by my job title: I'm a passionated photographer, a musician, a traveler, a nature enthusiast, a curator... we are many things at the same time.

In a few words, I love to wander the world with my Polaroid and my 35mm cameras and discover new places, hidden beauties and bring back good pictures I process myself in the darkroom. Oh I forgot, I only shoot film. Digital cameras, no thanks ! :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travelling can be sometimes hard, especially when you travel alone. You can feel isolated and lonely when your trip lasts several weeks. I think Couchsurfing could be a good way to bond with the locals and make new friends, maybe :).

I'd love to see them back in Paris to show them the city!

It's hard to choose only one style of music. I like Jazz (Hiromi Uehara, Marcus Miller, Armstrong, Gardot, Norah Jones, Jamie Cullum, ...), Folk (The tallest man on Earth, Angus & Julia Stone, Daughter, ...), Rock (Foals, Tricot, Incubus, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, White stripes, Jack White, the Raconteurs, ... ), Electro (Apparat, Hellen Allen, Moderat, ...). I hope you'll spot some bands/musicians you love too ! :)

As for the movies I love, I like the work of Denis Villeneuve, Kurosawa, Nolan, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Cohen Brothers, ...

As for the book, I'm fond of Dan Simmons' bibliography, Kafka's, Murakami's, Franck Herbert's, George Martin's... Well many science fiction !

As for the videogames, I'm currently playing Spelunky and plan to start Ico and Shadow of the Colossus (yeah, I know I'm late...)
