Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy to meet new people from all over the world, to exchange on our culture and interests. So what's better than being hosted by a local ?

Several of my cousins praised the couchsurfing system and convinced me to try !

Interests

I love literature, film and TV series. I really enjoy music or exhibitions... and more generally everything that relates to culture.

As history student, I am always interesting in visiting and getting to know more about the places I live in or travel to. It often tells a lot about our societies. I love to exchange ideas and points of views, and discover new things. I care about what's going on in our world and what people think about it.

But I also like travels, cooking and food, sports (and especially rackets sports, running & swimming), dance, games, and to hang out with my friends ...!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have read plenty of books, so my list isn't exhaustive, but I do like very much books from Agatha Christie, Anne Perry, Pat Conroy, Ken Follet, Alexander McCall Smith, Jonathan Coe, Harper Lee, J.D Salinger, Scott Fitzgerald, Frédéric Lenoir, Carlos Ruiz Zafon ... and plenty of others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16, I went to Germany for two months, lived with a host-family and attended high-school in german : I was quite frightened before to go, but didn't want to leave at the end !

Now, aged of 20, I left my country, my habits and my routine so as to experience life in another country : Czech Republic, for (at least) one year ... And it's gooooood! :)

About to start a solo/backpack trip in Turkey, a country I have always wanted to visit!

If you want to, I can show you and cook you a bit of french cuisine : crêpes, gâteaux, quiches, etc.. :)
