ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Max, easy going and most of all, curious and eager to discover everything the world has to offer. I am disciplined and diligent as I like to perform well in my studies and am a fierce competitor in sports; I also enjoy discussing about life and sharing experiences with a beer or ten with other people. I truthfully and whole-fully enjoy life and will adapt to any situation and make the best out of it. I like to learn about different cultures, listen to people and I can also share my rich culture from Quebec, Canada.

- Set really high objectives so that you reach somewhere high in any case.
- You can do everything if you really want to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living in a student dormitory in South Korea and it is not permitted to bring guests (anyway we are two students in 16 m2)..

Will be taking the train through Siberia with a few stops along the way; I want to meet local people and have every intention of giving back when I'm more settled in my life.

Interests

Passionate about sports: badminton, soccer, taekwondo, aikido, tennis, swimming, volleyball. Food: my goal is to experience every culinary delicacy of the world. Want to reach for the stars, actually. Space conquest is the next big adventure and I want to be a part of it if not one of the instigators.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite actor is Owen Wilson, the character he plays in every of his movies is similar but each aspect of it makes me laugh. I like all of Leonardo Dicaprio's movies. My cult movie is : Gone in 60 seconds. I read a lot, fantasy, crime, mangas, sci-fi. HunterXHunter, Robin Hobb, Asimov. I like any music, my favorite groups are still any group from the 90s and I've fallen in love with Korean songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Master's in Aerospace Engineering in South Korea, learning Korean and travelling around South Korea, making wonderful friends during the process.
