About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Maxime. Leo. 32 years old. Into fitness but not fit yet. May contain traces of fat. Gaymer who worked in the gaming industry, now in IT. Creative, kind and witty. I lived/studied/partied in Istanbul five months in 2014. Since then, I've got wanderlust. It was the most extraordinary life-changing experience of my life. And now all I want to do is travel and eat food from the world over! I'm bilingual with French and English foremost, and some choice words in Spanish and Turkish after that.
CURRENT MISSION
Finding cool art, culture and food in (hopefully) dry socks and comfortable shoes.
SIX THINGS I CAN NEVER DO WITHOUT
My cynicism, my creativeness, my humor, my humility, my ability to be absolutely sensational at everything I do and more of my humility.
WHAT I'M DOING WITH MY LIFE
I'm currently drinking a lot of water and finding new and exciting things to be overly anxious about.
I'M REALLY GOOD AT
Genre fiction, cocooning, fashion, home design, film analysis, psychoanalysis, semiotics, sexology, sociology, dive bars, hipsterism and Grumpy Cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've heard about this site from a friend and he told me great things about it. It seems to be about a network of intelligent and generous individuals, at least it's what I'm hoping to find, to live new experiences with such new people for richer experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kept my grades up through a close member of my family dying. This led me to Istanbul where I finished my Bachelor's and where I truly found myself as a man.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm leaving for Togo, Africa in September 2017 for a humanitarian effort, giving women bicycles to help them go to work. I'm at a point in my life where I want to give back. I hope it's going to make a difference to the community and awaken something in me in terms of humanitarian work for the future.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest in your home, I can offer you my time, presence and attentiveness. Hopefully we can spend good-hearted moments together, if you're up to it, make a meal together, enjoy it, trade each other's war stories or just straight up play Uno.
