I am an engineer in oil industry, although I totally disconnect from work at night and weekends, constantly exploring new bars, restaurants in Aberdeen. When I'm not here, I'm traveling!

I'm somewhat of a bar expert in Aberdeen and will take you the best places in the city. From famous historic institution, to very local neighborhood hidden gems, I've got you covered. I can also recommend the best food regardless of your tastes or budget.

My apt is located in the inner city, which is walking distance from the main street. My couch is very comfortable and the apt has all the standard luxuries (a guest bedroom, laundry, wifi, whiskey, wine, good music etc).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am just getting started in all of this. I figured I had some good experiences with random travelers so I want to give back to the community.

I host my friends from other cities all the time, I thought I would open my couches up to the couch surfing community as a whole.

Came across Couch-Surfing by a random encounter with a friend and I am happy for that. This was the kind of community I have been looking for without realizing it. I am now bitten by the traveling bug and want to see the world, its culture and its people.

In the beginning I thought CS was just a tool for exchanging accommodation and I was wondering if it could actually work without troubles...

I reckoned that CS is much more: it's a community of people who believe that world is much better if only we help each other, and that's why the couch-surfing experience is always a positive one: regardless whether you are being hosted, hosting or meeting couchsurfer's for any reason you will just need to have a look at references to be sure you will always meet interesting and positive people. It really works!!
