Overview
About Me
I am a university student on leave for a year travelling Central America.
From October until March I sailed with my friend from Northern USA to Roatan in Honduras. We spent a while in the Bahamas and it was a blast.
I want to learn as much as I can about what life is like where I go. My goal is to learn Spanish and anything that can help that is interesting to me.
I like physical activity and talking with people. I enjoy reading when I stop doing whatever else I am doing and sit down to do it. I like to cook and if you like to cook I am interested in cooking with you.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - This is very tough. The most relevant to couch surfing is "Down and Out in Paris and London" by Orwell. Currently reading "Anna Karenina" and loving the drama.
Movies - I don't really have any favourites but I like weird movies.
Music - Sorry for the cliche but anything at the right time. Generally a lot of hip hop and rock and roll. I don't know electronica very well but I do enjoy it. Classical and jazz are good too. Country as well (but I much prefer folk country over popular country)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sailed 2000 miles to Central America on my friend's sailboat. One big highlight was 2 months of partying and hanging out on beaches in Georgetown, Bahamas. Besides some rocky nights, the most interesting part was a visit to a remote Haitian fishing village.
