Hi! My name is Max, I am a medical student in Heidelberg, Germany! I grew up in the Ruhr Area of Germany (Essen) and started my university three years ago.

Now I will leave Germany to spend a hopefully amazing year in Lexington at the University of Kentucky!

As I grew up in the Ruhr Area, everything was about Soccer and sports. I love doing pretty much every sport and I try everything I can.
When I am old, I wanna be able to look back and say that there's no thing I wish I would have done when I was able to, so just going out and live life to the fullest is the personal aim I would like to achieve.

I am an open minded person, spent some time of my life in New Zealand and South Africa, and I love getting to know other cultures. Just as much I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

As much as I do that, I enjoy travelling... the saying travelling is the only way to spend money that makes you richer is completely true in my opinion and I am happy to get to know people from all over the place!

When I travel or get to know new places, I want to see the real version, not the touristic one. So I am always keen on meeting locals who can tell me something more about where I am.

Only by doing this I found some magical places during my travels.

I am a sports lover, but not a fanatic. I enjoy doing a lot of different sports (Kitesurfing, surfing, skiing, basketball, soccer, tennis) and I love to travel.
Besides I like music and going on festivals, but sometimes I am happy to have a nice cooked dinner (which is another thing I can do I guess ;-) ) with a few drinks and just have some nice conversation.

I just love everything that fits my mood when it comes to music. No real preference, but I dig electronic music when it comes to clubbing.

1) Bungy-Jumped five times in my life (New Zealand, South Africa)

2) Spent an amazing year in New Zealand, when I was 16.

3) Jumped of a bridge in South Africa into the sea.

4) Helped at an orphanage in South Africa.

5) Got to play with baby lions!

I am happy to share and teach everything I can. Anything from talking german or anything regarding our or my lifestyle to what it is like to Kitesurf - I do not have any preferences or restrictions on that.

I would love to learn more about you and your culture, the way things go where YOU come from. Knowing a lot about other countries is the only way of making a development in its on personality.
