ABOUT ME

Born and grown up in a small city in the North of Italy. Dutch mother and Italian father. Little brother studying in The Netherlands. After High school moved to Technical University Delft, Netherlands. Studied in Amsterdam and after 6 years came back to Correggio. I'm very open minded and I'm trying to combine work, traveling and foreigners in one thing. Instead of watching television I listen to the BBC radio, Rai 3, Radio 24 and sometimes I also buy the financial newspaper. Jogging helps me stay fit but I prefer to ride my bike when the weather is not too hot or not too cold.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I'm always after strong feelings and that ends up with learning more about myself and whats out there for me! Never stop exploring I guess :)

I have done some hitch-hiking and international sailing trips around Europe but not really couchsurfing yet.

Interests

I'm a curious guy! I have a big collection of BBC documentaries about Earth which I never get tired of watching. I'm a beginner surfer, skater, diver, climber, yogi and pie maker. Kite surfing, sky diving and alpine climbing are definitely on my bucket list ;). I'm always ready for tennis/squash game but if money is not a problem skiing and sailing are my favourites! I do swim for hours in the Mediterranean sea on summer holidays but after 10 years of training I got tired of the swimming pool. The only sports I like to watch on TV are Extreme sports and Rugby which I played for a couple of years.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play all kinds of music on Spotify especially classical, I only buy tickets for classical concerts or modern dance. I'm not a reader but I guess I'm more into crime books. I go to the movies twice a month and keep buying DVDs or Blue Rays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of crazy things. I've experienced different ways of living your life and a lot of different jobs including garbage man and barman. I've travelled to most of EU countries and keep doing it but as soon as I get a higher salary I plan to go to New York, Brazil, China, Japan, India, Canada, New Zealand and of course Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around in Bologna, Modena, Verona, Parma and other cities in the North of Italy. I'm always up for some sportive activity. I like to go to musea now and then. Have many friends here so group activities are always on my schedule.
