Hey Guys,
my name is Maximilian (but if you want to save some time just call me Max or Maxi, I will listen to all possible forms of this name) and at the moment I'm studying Pharmazie at the University in Freiburg. I'm living with two good friends in a shared flat for almost three years now. Our three-room flat is a 15 minutes bike ride away from the citycenter and only 5 minutes from the next forest (the blackforest ;)). I really enjoy living in Freiburg, the sunniest city of whole Germany, yes thats a fact! And also one of the greenest with parks and lakes, surrounded by the blackforest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Courchsurfing because I enjoy traveling a lot but as a student my budget is alway low. So Couchsurfing is the perfect way for me to save some money but nevertheless have a cozy sleeping place. I also enjoy the little thrill of meeting people I have never seen and spending some time with them in their home town. Getting easy in contact with locals for some tips or just some basic informations is of course probably the greatest benifit.

Interests

I'm a sporty, active guy, I'm doing sports at least every second day for compensation and a mental balance. I play tennis in a team and used to play soccer and do athletics (running most of the time). In winter I go skiing at the Blackforst or the Alps in Switzerland.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy music, so I'm basically listening all the time to some kind of. Especially electronic dance musik, like Techno and House, but also a lot of other genres for example Hip-Hop or Pop.

My favourite author is the german writer Hermann Hesse and his books Siddartha and Steppenwolf. But to be honest I often choose a movie over reading a book cause Universitey makes me read a lot, so in my free time I relax and be lazy or do some sports.
Thats why I have at least seen quite a lot of movies. Mostly dramas and thrillers, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino and that kind of stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thats a difficult question. Maybe visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Tombs of Tutankhamun in Egypt were the most fascinating places I have seen so far.
