Hey I am Max, I am 24 years old and currently traveling through Europe for at least 2 months. I quit my studies and want to start my new Bachelors degree this fall. For the last one and a half years I worked 6 different jobs to save money for this trip. I don't have a lot of travel experiences out of hotels yet but it's never to late, right? My trip started in Warsaw and I am currently in Krakow planning on going to Lwiw next. With me I have a tent, a sleeping bag, a backpack and my guitar. I realised that you don't meet a lot of locals when you are sleeping in hostels so I decided to try couch surfing. I can cook some great vegan meals and love cooking for other people. I even like doing the dishes, I know, weird huh?

I want to get to know people around the world and see how they are living. I am always open to learn new things and maybe share some experiences. My one great passion is people

Music:

I love music. I sing and play guitar myself. My first and still favourite instrument is the bass guitar.

Books:
I'm a big fan of Dostojewski. I also like Kafka a lot and other classic literature. To be honest I read everything I can get. I collect books and my collection is about 100 books large but still growing.
My favourite book is The picture of Dorian Gray. Oh big fan of Chuck Palahniuk

Movies:
Everything with a mindfuckish plot like Memento, Fight Club and Shutter Island
My favourite movie at the time is Snatch. Every story is funnier if told by an Englishman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago I celebrated Christmas in a surf hostel on Fuerte Ventura. Everybody was contributing something to the table and someone even built a Christmas tree out of wood. It felt like a big family gathering even though we only knew each other for one week.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you some great vegan meals. Recommend a lot of books. I can teach you how to play guitar and maybe we can write a song together! If you want to learn first aid I can teach you everything you need to know in about 2 hours.
