CURRENT MISSION

I, Nora, am taking my boyfriend, Max, around Sweden to try and make him fall in love with this country as hard as I did 7 years ago when I came to study.

It's been a dream of mine to move and live here ever since and I'm now trying to embark Max on this journey with me ! Please help me show him how wonderful your country and its inhabitants really are ❤️

ABOUT US

Max is a 31 year old French guy specialising in making people laugh (hope you like word games and riddles). He works as an industrial engineer sometimes but mostly spends his time travelling, following improv classes, performing on stage (acting, singing), climbing mountains and riding canyons ! I'd say he's nice, easy going, open minded, a good listener and so many more things but hey... I date him, how objective can I be ?

Nora is a 28 year old French girl specialising in dreaming of moving permanently to Sweden. Aside from that, she used to be a fluvial hydraulics engineer, got tired of it and quit, now looking for something better for her to do. Waiting for inspiration to come up, she's now dedicating her time to traveling, reading, writing, drawing, cooking, yoga-ing, learning to like mountain activities when she's really a sea person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've both met different couchsurfers during our travels and crashed on a few couches, now Max is also hosting people in Strasbourg.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

Max is the classic-old-french songs kind of guy. He plays the guitar and recently started taking singing lessons. Nora was raised on rock n'roll music and even though her teenage years were more reggae-y, she's now back to her first love. She's not taking any kind of singing or music training but still performs loud and proud in the shower.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Max has climbed up a few mountains (like 6 000 m high) and came back in one piece - even though the lack of oxygen might have had some repercussions on some brain functions such as memory.

Nora has lived in Dunkirk for two full years. If you've never heard of it that's absolutely normal, no one has. But it takes strength and courage to endure this kind of boringness !

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can give you a little guided tour of Strasbourg's most gorgeous places. On weekdays we're pretty busy but in the weekends we can arrange some outdoor or indoor activities.

We could lend a bike or two depending on the use we might have of them at the time.

We love cooking for people and sharing a meal with the inevitable funny-smelling cheese and tasty wine. We mostly cool vegetarian though and can arrange for vegans.
