About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exchange to discover and enrich ourselves through exchanges

ABOUT US

We are a couple of French students. I speak currently Spanish and my girlfriend, Anne-Sophie speaks currently English. We are 24 and 18 and we'd like to travel as much as we possibly can. We would like to share our culture and learn to know others. Last year, I was studying in Hypokhâgne and this year-to-be I am going to study Fine Arts. My girlfriend is studying history in university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In spite of appearances, the otherness is the poor relationship of our culture, which inclines the individualism and incites to form groups of "same". Nevertheless, nothing is more fertile than the meeting with the difference, the strangeness inherent to the other one: it is source of surprise, enrichment and strengthens our own identities. Welcome the one who does not look like us, but who respects us, pushes aside our faiths and our prejudices. To welcome the other one in our universe, to receive its difference also allows us to experience our limits, our values and our capacity to question. This opening - of spirit and territory - develops our empathy and reduces our imaginary fears, quite established on the fear of the unknown.

Interests

Art, cooking, poetry, operas, drinking wine, watching birds eat an apple. I like evrything even what I don't like. My girlfriend, Anne-Sophie, enjoys cinema as well as everything just said.
