About Me

I am Maxi, student and quite the energetic type of guy. I am studying to become a teacher.

I like stories of any kind and I loooove literature.

I am vegetarian, straight edge (which means no alcohol, cigarettes or other drugs for me) and I like cats. But I can still be fun at parties! :D

The most important principle: love for all, hatred for none.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like the idea of hotels at all. I want to dive in the places I go. And I want to get to know the people who are living there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

Well this is hard, I like so many different genres. :D Maybe a list of bands will help!

Rise Against. <3 Flobots, Daughter, Brand New, Casper, Anti-Flag, Ben Howard, Billy Talent, blink-182, Bloc Party, Captain Capa, Casey Jones, Antilopen Gang, Iries Revoltes, Elliott Smith, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Frittenbude, Green Day, Grey Reverend, Jimmy Eat World, Kettcar, Lonely the Brave, Mac Miller, Macklemore, More Than Life, Mumford and Sons, The Naked and Famous, OK KID, Radical Face, The Saddest Landscape, Sir Sly, Soko, Soley, Thees Uhlmann, Tiny Ruins, Vallis Alps, William Fitzsimmons

Sheesh. Too many, right? But I caaaannot decide. D:

Literature:

Everything written by John Steinbeck, George Orwell, Upton Sinclair, B. Traven and Jack London.

Especially: The Catcher in the Rye, The Grapes of Wrath, Cannery Row, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Death Ship, The Road (by Jack London), ... I could write a list with 50 titles, but you can just ask me. :)

Movies:

Ok I am done with lists. I like onesthat involve social criticism and dystopian elements such as The Road or Children of Men. City of God is wonderful too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did catsitting for my friends beloved cat Rüdiger, which is nice I think.
