ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am Max, 19 years and currently a student at Wageningen University. I study Molecular Life Sciences where I learn how molecules work physically and chemically and how we can modify them to cure diseases, create the perfect dye, let stars glow in the dark, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have returned from traveling in Belgium and I am now possibly available to host people in Wageningen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first trip in Belgium. Couchsurfing really is a great way to meet new people and to learn more about a country than any tourist guide can teach you.

Currently I am really into electronic music (mostly Dubstep and Drum & Bass) and I am planning to spend part of the spare time I will have this summer on teaching myself to produce my own music. I have access to all the tools I will need (Ableton, midi controller, keyboard, etc.) so I am really looking forward to experiment with it.

But that is for the summer. For now I am stuck with my study - molecular life sciences - at the University of Wageningen. My spare time I love to spend with friends or at my fraternity (however, in the Netherlands these kind of things are actually of mixed gender, so fraternity and sorority in one). I love going out, meeting new people, visiting concerts and watching movies, to name a few things. I like to try out new things, so I change hobbies quite often. E.g. I have learnt HTML to create websites, taught myself a bit of DJing, have been part of a debating club, did a year of kickboxing and now throwing myself into electronic music production :).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There's this movie of a pelican eating a pidgeon on youtube... that certainly left me in awestruck haha. Also quite weird experience is the fact that I actually liked eating sheep stomach. Oh and traveling- wise people praying in front of a maria doll inside a shop's show window in Lourdes.
