I was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia, where I graduated from Joint HSE and NES Bachelor Program with a BA in Economics in June 2019. During the fall semester 2017 I studied at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, as an exchange student. In August 2019, I started my MSc in Finance at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.
I am a Grandmaster in chess, and I have lots of interesting stories to share with from my numerous chess tournaments, including Youth European and World Championships and 3 Youth World Olympiads. My biggest achievement in chess is a victory in the European Rapid Chess Championship in December 2017, which I got exactly after the end of my exchange semester in Prague.
I used to travel a lot during my exchange semester and after that, so I've already been to most European countries and hope that I will have a chance to explore other continents as well one day.
I am the captain of my team in the sport version of "What? Where? When?", a famous intellectual game in Russia. I am passionate about education and self-development, so I fond of reading, both fiction and non-fiction literature; I watch one TED Talk in English each day, to enrich myself with new ideas; I am truly interested in learning foreign languages, so I have started to learn Italian recently, in addition to learning French.

I love traveling and meeting interesting people, as I strongly believe that mutual exchange of ideas and personal experience enrich and improve our lives. Moreover, I am sure that people throughout the world are much kinder and better, that one used to think, and I am very curious about challenging this point of view in practice.

Música, películas y libros

I listen to various music, preferably rock ("Scorpions", "Nickelback"), but sometimes pop-music meets my mood very well. I also love listening songs in foreign languages (French, Italian).

My favorite movies are "The Big Short", "Inception", "Kingsman: The Secret Service", "Sharade", however, there are much more lovely films. For instance, I like a lot Marvel films and Disney/Pixar cartoons.

I've read so many wonderful books, that it is a bit complicated to name only a few of them. Nevertheless, let I put here "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austin from fiction and "Essentialism" by Greg McKeown, "Quiet" by Susan Cain and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki from non-fiction books.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I have lots of interesting stories to share with from my numerous chess tournaments, including Youth European and World Championships and 3 Youth World Olympiads. I can share my experience of living and studying abroad. I am always ready to discuss sports events, education in different countries, good books and films. And, the last but not the least, I will try to do my best to help my host with practice of Russian language if he or she would be interested :)
