About Me
Hi! My name is Maxine, I'm from Canada. I discovered the joy of traveling when I was a teenager and believe it has shaped my view on life. I'm passionate about meeting people with a completely different background from mine and trying to understand their unique perspective, and this fascination has led me to specialize in psychiatric medicine.
I love to be outdoors and reconnect with nature. I love to move my body, whether it's for a run, a bike ride or a hike, on my yoga mat, or dancing in my living room. Happens a lot.
If I'm not busy with school, I'm probably on a trip somewhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There's nothing like discovering a new place through a local's eyes, and I'm always up for meeting interesting people who share my love for travel. It's a privilege to be welcomed into a home when you're traveling for a long time. I had the chance to experience the hospitality of complete strangers before using CS while I was on the road in India, so the concept of a website organizing this type of encounter is really amazing to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts
A free medical consultation (ha! well hey maybe)
I love to sit down and have a conversation, perhaps over a drink, I love to cook and teach recipes to my hosts, especially if they want to add some vegetarian recipes to their repertoire ;)
Stories, inspiration, maybe even a lasting connection.
