Hello I'm Maxine, nice to meet you :)

I'm terrible at these but....

I'd say I'm a calm, friendly, considerate and open person (my friends' words really :)
I'm a bit shy but I love being around outgoing people because it brings it out in me!
I am originally from London, UK, but I have been living in New Zealand for 5 years. It's been lots of fun but I'm ready to explore new places now! Very excited to travel to Tahiti, Canada, Cuba, America and maybe back to London to see friends.
I'm generally kinda health conscious i.e. I enjoy yoga and eating good food (cooking it for friends too!), swimming in beautiful beaches and wandering around big cities for hours.
I love meeting new people and making a connection with people and just having fun! I'm happy just chilling out doing nothing or going out and seeing where the day/night takes me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to make the effort to get to know people I surf with and try to give back in any way I can, whether its through food (my favourite way) or conversation, laughter or providing a future couch for anyone who's kind enough to host me :) Make it an exchange of sorts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far only in San Francisco but it was great! I love it and want to couchsurf everywhere!

Interests

MUSIC! My first love is music. Then food, then travel, then film, then tattoos, then books, the psychology (the weird kind), then technology, then plants, .

I love all kinds of music: RnB, electronic, hip hop, folk, 'world' music, classical, soul....anything!

I love cooking and trying out different types of cuisine. i'd like to pursue a path in food/catering one day.

Nature...I don't know! You'll find out if you let me stay with you!

I can show you show to cook some delicious things! I'm not a pro but people generally enjoy what I make. And we can practice French, Spanish or Portuguese if you like. I can teach you some terrible British slang :P

I would love to learn to surf and sing (properly).
