Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to spend my days happily loving life!
ABOUT ME
I like bicycling, sunshine and wine... I live and breathe everything related to travel - I plan trips like they are going out of style. There's nothing I love more than sharing a squished train compartment with locals, or dancing the night away. I love food, and have a cupboard full of weird but delicious things! I like to have fun and love life!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't eat yellow snow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I clog people's history bars with the website URL.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
With all the surfing, you'd think I had a tan.
Interests
Drinking coffee. Knotting hemp. Watching the sunrise. Glueing flowers in a journal. Eating fresh fruit. Romantic trains. Making coconut jewlery. Complaining about the weather. Dancing. Pretending to be paper confetti. Laying in the sun. Trying not to litter. Having fun. Being happy. The beach. Getting crazy. Hanging out in grocery stores for spurts of two hours. Finding free samples. Eating granola. Staying up too late. Taking naps. Forgetting to take my contacts out. Getting hypothermia. Wandering around needlessly. Procrastinating. Asking questions. Trying to forget insecurities. Growing. Saying hello to strangers. Reflecting. Contemplating. Pondering. Reading books too fast. Wasting my time doing nothing. Pretending I'm an artist. Sticking tomato juice in my beer. Not slamming doors. Hanging postcards on the wall. Forgetting to buy toilet paper. Scamming free Booster Juice. Waking up delirious.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am one of those Grey's Anatomy fans, and my boyfriend is big into movies so by default I watch a lot.
Margaret Atwood, Tom Robbins, Douglas Coupland, Charles Bukowski, Yann Martel, Jack Kerouc, Barbara Gowdry, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing that has really affected me has been visiting villages in both India and Laos where the children have never seen someone with white skin before. Being the only foreigner ever to arrive was something to too hard to describe in words.
Completing a one week hill tribe trek in Northern Laos taught me a lot about myself and the things I can accomplish. I am generally not one that likes to climb mountains.
Embarking on a camel safari with my boyfriend and three local villagers in Rajastan, India was another one of those experiences that was truly amazing... Vijay the camelman in Bikaner is the guy to go to.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't sleep on the bottom bunk in hostels, always set aside money for coffee/beer, two minute noodles will give you scurvy, and bathrooms on buses are real nasty. If you have a pervert in your dorm room, make a princess canopy with you sheet. The local water is most likely potable. And local cuisine might give you diarehha but its probably worth it.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Barbados, Costa Rica, India, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Thailand, United States
