I'm a guy from Hildesheim, Germany. I'm very interested in music , vinyl and cooking. I'm also a DJ and go by the name of Max Luxus. I mostly play sevenies disco and boogie sounds, but besides of that I like all different kinds of music like Jazz, Hip Hop, Afrobeat etc. I'm always very excited to meet new people and get new influences. I like going to recordstores, bars and clubs. I would describe myself as a open minded and interested person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always said to myself it would be a nice experience to go on a journey just for myself, but I never did it. The last year was really challenging for me and now I think it is the right time to make this kind of experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music always depents on the current situation i find myself. In the last time I listen a lot to the Senegal 70 sampler by Analog Africa.
I think the book i enjoyed the most was The Dark Tower by Stephen King. I know it's not the most interlectual book, but I liked it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen were the millions of windows in Istanbul, seen from a ferry at sundawn. it was all covered in red and gold
