Hello there! I am currently working in Baltimore as a grant writer and researcher for a cervical cancer lab focusing on HPV treatment. I was born in Seattle, WA but spent half my life growing up in Taipei, Taiwan. I’m what they call a ‘third culture kid!

In college, I studied both biochemistry and music. I know, I know, it doesn't get more diverse than these two disciplines, but they are both so important to me so I thought...why not both? Additionally, I completed a master's degree in preventive cardiology in 2016 and now I'm enjoying work life.

Traveling is perhaps my greatest hobby - a way to see the world and expose myself to different cultures, different people, and hopefully, create new friendships! I’m just trying to enjoy life and travel more. If you share a passion for changing the world and are always up for adventures, I would love to make friends with you too!

I think of myself as a funny, hardworking, confident, independent, optimistic, outgoing, and open-minded person with a passion for learning and exploring! I'm always up for new adventures and experiences and would love to meet new people and make new friends. I would really love to host people from different places! Currently, I have a couch, a few sleeping bags, and plenty of space on my living room floor.

I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, nature, live music, baseball, classical music and ballet, museums, the smell of old books, ice skating, the outdoors, dinosaurs, chocolate, squash, road trips, the Oxford comma, and good food... in no particular order!

I would love to meet new people while I spend my free time traveling. I thought that Couchsurfing would be a great way to find others who are also keen on meeting up while traveling! It seems like a great way to bond and make travel experiences that much better.
