I graduated from Sheffield Uni in 2013 and now that I need to be a real human I get a bit of nostalgia for that time of mirthful bliss :D

I am currently working as a medical interpreter in the NHS, which is a job that certainly makes up for what it lacks in monetary terms by being super interesting and challenging. Yay, public sector!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I once had a great experience of couchsurfing my way through Russia and it's just a great idea (I mean everywhere, not just in Russia).

Interests

I spend a lot of my time perfecting the languages that I speak. I cycle a lot (which is as much a hobby as a down-to-earth way of avoiding bleeding my wallet out by paying for transport in London :P)

I also like architecture (possibly not as knowledgeable about it as I feel I should be - especially since I took Art History at high school exams), I like cafés, museums, theatre. I love cooking (happy to use cooking as a token of gratitude for letting me stay!), I make jams and chutneys, bake and make sure the food waste goes in the compost bin (I'm very environmentally conscious, however, not a vegetarian... yet maybe?).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've slept in a Mongolian yurt on the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar (thanks, couchsurfing).
and for those who don't think sleeping is impressive... I have locked myself outside of my flat only wearing a T-shirt (with the emphasis of the word 'only').
