About Me

CURRENT MISSION Let's rewild the world and give back to Nature. Fukuoka style. ABOUT ME NOTE: Before you request my couch, pleeeease thoroughly fill out your profile. Thank and please don't send me a request more than a month in advance. I have no idea what my schedule will look like then haha

Anyway.... on to.. me. I want to plant some trees and save the world. I'm a (one day hopefully) post-civilized, sometimes gregarious, sometimes incredibly introverted, sometimes really dramatic, often sarcastic, half French, half american, fun (or at least I think I am ha!), love the outdoors, camping (unless it rains the whole time which is really really shitty and that time got me athlete’s foot - traumatizing and never ending...), nature-environment-loving person, I love to travel too occasionally... all of us do I guess haha. I love learning new languages, meeting new people and generally saying fuck it, something I've found rarely leads me to regretting a decision =D also, read my interests^^ (they're more telling the this info), fuck it, read my whole profile! PHILOSOPHY "my country is the world and my religion is to do good" (or the alternate, "my religion is humanity")

Music, Movies, and Books

Hitch, LOTR, Waking Life, END CIV, HP, Avatar, Gladiator, Braveheart, 500 Days of Summer, Kingdom of Heaven, No Strings Attached, I could go on, but I pretty much like any kind of movie (except horror, fuck that), DOCUMENTARIES

I was reading Narziss and Goldmund (Herman Hesse), sooo good. I thought Sidhartha was his best, but this is way more me. I will read Demian soon.

The People's History of the U.S. - Howard Zinn

...Noam Chomsky... Naomi Klein...

I love the "classics". Hemingway, H. James, Orwell, Hesse, Graeber, Tolstoy, Dumas, Barjavel, Defoe, Tolkien. However, I've come to realize that, some of them, are socially constructed sexist bastards (cough* Tolstoy), I try to see past that.

Green Anarchy Magazine

All kinds of radical zines. Don't know what a zine is? Google. Or don't and wait for me to talk to you about them (which I will haha).

Also, The Disspossed -Ursula leGuin, which I could only describe as anarcho-science-fiction. Really really great book, much much more than what I expected.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sailing around the caribbean was pretty epic... I remembering the dolphins swimming at arms-length from the bow of the sail boat. truly beautiful.

Climbed up 40m high trees, with climbing gear and two days experience, alone in a forest at la Z.A.D. Might not have been the safest thing to do in retrospect but it was definitely pushing my limits of fear.

Got picked up in Louisiana with my sister hitchhiking and rode ON the back of a fully stuffed pick-up truck. Scariest most unsafe ride of my life. 85mph on the highway, nothing to hold on to, wind whipping hair in our faces, bumps that made me think I was going to die, praying to the universe that I live. Yeah. Never again xD the 50 bucks we were given after was nice though but totally not worth it

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you anything I know if I'm in the talkative teaching mood.
Share. of course, though I have been called a communist. haha I would definitely not adhere to such a limited ideology. (A) ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A wonderful place in forest, knowledge about permaculture and wild plants. Farming. Eco-construction. Chess tactics. Collective living.
